Trust the Gentle Light

Tearing off the smallest piece of my heart to share with you

on a stormy afternoon, when found, I saw that you felt blue.

My heart brimming full of meaning, giving some seemed natural.

Replacement comes by faith alone, the regrowth only gradual.

My given piece, the gum to paste together needed bandages,

My given piece to make a shield and save you from the ravages.

Impulse within to offer free this loving gift

Is just the kind of action felt that gives a needed lift.

As I lift you, as we hold hands, together we discover,

The light, the good, this warm design is credit of what hovers.

Our glow that grows can not be seen by less than Godly eyes

And knowing  what we felt was true, nourishing, and right.
