I didn't know I had a blog! I wonder what b-l-o-g stands for? Hmmm well I am new here (fairly new) and love to mingle with people my own age. I mentioned to a girl (25 yrs old) at work about James Taylor and she didn't even know who that was. I think that makes my point!!!

I agree on cell phone talking while driving is like drinking and driving. Yes, please hang up the cell phone or pull of the road to talk. Another one that gets me is when someone is eating while driving, drops a piece of food and then goes on a treasure hunt to retrieve the lost morsel.

Okay, I guess I will try a blog reply for the first time in my life. It looks pretty painless. I agree cell phone while driving is as dangerous as drinking and driving. Another one that gets me is when people eat and drive and try to retrieve the piece of food that fell to eat it. Gross and like drinking and driving.

Today is going to be cold (relatively so) but without rain so it may be the best day to walk/hike. High of 50 degrees, when we are all waiting for the 70s. I do love the weekends, but this week I made the decision to retire at the end of May. I can not wait!!! - Michael

Well, yes I know what a BLOG is. I was just kidding but I find that although I like to write, I need some topic to talk about here. One of my pet peeves is people that talk on their cell phones while driving then seem to be inattentive driving. I have heard that talking on a cell phone is like driving when drinking, which we all know is really bad!! So hang up the cell phone for driving and just drive and pay attention to the road and everything that goes on around you when you are on the road!! I know, I try to do this. Michael (hanging up now)

Wellll .... I had the same question , so I did a little rsearch and found the answer . Ths is a strange contraction of the two words "Web" and "Log" . THey took the B from web , hooked on the word log and there you have it ....BLOG or weblog !! John
