my restart in single life
To start with My Wife died about 6 weeks agoe after 44 years marrage. I already Know that I hate bening alone. I also know that I am a long way from getting into a long term commited relationship. I also feel the pressure of time in developing a relationship with another woman,
because being 64 and posibly only 20 or so years of life left (not garinteed).
The most challenging thing now is to be able to develope a level of trust, in someone else that can lead to a sustainable relationship. My plans right now are to take some time off and travel (by rv) back home to visit family, friends. From there I plan to wander accross the U.S.A. and hopefuly meet some new frends along the way.
I am looking to getting back into rving, that way I can take my time and visit family and frends on my schedual; also to develope new frendships without using bar sciene(?).
I do not have any thing aginst people drinking --- it's just not for me
Plan to buy my second rv soon to travel and enjoy life. Taking some time off from working to recover from Wife's death.
The last rv I bought was for working out of town and family vacations, I wanted my own place to stay and not have to live out of a motel rooms.
I am looking forward to rv travel once again. I hope not to be doing it alone (but I can).

I lost my husband in December, 08. We, also, were married 45 years and we had just sold our RV. He was ill for a long time and we could no longer travel. That had been our dream for 20 years. I have a glass of wine once in awhile but nothing else. Usually at a wedding or some sort of celebration. I lived, at one time in Penn, so have spent lots of time in the Adirondacks. Love it there. Currently, I live in Minnesota. Lots of RV'ers here. Mostly heading south for the winter. I think we are the capital for snow birds. My dream is to travel Alaska in an RV. with no deadlines. Just take time to see everything. I even got information for hosting at Denali park. It sounds wonderful.
I also like to ride motorcycles. We have a club called the Dry Riders. Mostly AA people or people who just don't drink. Our chapter is called the Camels. I do not have a bike of my own but there is usually someone with an empty seat to ride with. I am a little over weight and not really pretty but I like to live life to the fullest. I have never tried to meet anyone on the internet but I started with the Senior Chat room and them clicked on some other sites and found this blog. Just trying to find some new friends. I have come to realize that the couples that were "frinds" have disappeared since I am not longer a "couple". Anyway, just curious as to what will happen now.
