Blog description:It's the day before Thanksgiving and here I am sitting writing my thoughts down for others to read. Holidays are quite different when you don't have a significant other in your life. Don't you agree? Tomorrow, I'll cook most of the day while my daughters are at my ex-husband's family's gathering. Friday, they will come to have dinner with me. That's the crappy thing, I always have to do my holidays "the day after" but I shouldn't complain, the kids can't help the situation. We made the decisions for them when they were little girls and now we all have to make the best of things. I miss being married the most during holidays. I miss buying presents for him, eventhough he rarely liked anything I bought him. I miss looking at men's things. Shirts, cowboy boots, carhart coats. Oh well, I guess if he'd admit it, he misses me buying things for him, too. Holidays weren't made for single people, were they? One good thing happening, is I'm going to be a grandmother in a couple of weeks. So, we will have a brand new baby girl to be absolutely foolish about. If anyone reads this, I hope I didn't bore you too much.

Yuck, four days off from work, so short!
Spent two cooking and two resting and recuperating. Did a little house decorating for Christmas. Put candles in the windows, hung wreaths and garland outside. When I get it all done, I'll post a pic of my little farm house.
In the morning, it's up and back to work. Budgets and bid packages await me. I like my job and the people I work with, so it makes it "all good". It's been a rainy, gloomy day here in Kentucky, but warm. I guess it's time to go back to holding down the couch and watching TV.
Hope all of you bloggers had a nice holiday, catch ya later.
